Early Life and Family Struggles
Prophet Jino Jose’s story begins in a devout Orthodox family. In the 1990s, a tragic accident shattered his father’s ankle into 28 pieces, leading to immense financial and emotional strain on the family. The treatment costs depleted their savings of 50 lakh rupees, pushing the family to the brink of despair. Amidst this hardship, his father passed away when Jino was just 15 years old. His mother, steadfast in her faith, refused to abandon their belief in God despite the overwhelming challenges. Her determination and unwavering faith became the bedrock of their family, even as they moved from one rented house to another.
Spiritual Awakening and Education
In 2004, Jino Jose took a significant step in his spiritual journey by joining Beersheba Bible College, where he was baptized by Pastor Finny Jacob. However, the dire circumstances at home forced him to leave his studies and support his family. This period marked a deviation from his faith, as he strayed into a path filled with earthly temptations and sins.
Trials and Redemption
The years 2008 to 2010 were particularly challenging for Jino as he sought employment in Qatar and later Saudi Arabia, only to face financial ruin and accrue significant debts. Despite the hopelessness and depression that engulfed him, Jino never wavered in his faith. Even when he contemplated suicide, he remained committed to the love of the Lord.
A Turning Point
The turning point in Prophet Jino Jose’s life came in 2016 when he encountered Prophet Tijo Thomas. During a casual meeting at a stadium where Jino was with friends, Prophet Tijo, through a connection with Jino’s brother-in-law Pastor Shibu Raju, invited him to play cricket. This seemingly ordinary invitation led to a profound transformation. Engaging with Prophet Tijo’s ministry, Jino found his way back to faith and soon became a leader within their visiting team.
Ministry and Leadership
Answering the call of God, Prophet Jino Jose formally entered the ministry and founded his church on December 29, 2018, in Chengannur. What began with a modest three-day meeting and a small congregation has, by the grace of God, blossomed into a thriving community with hundreds of members. His journey from personal despair to spiritual leadership serves as a powerful testament to his unwavering faith and divine purpose.
